To get this cool sketch look, I desaturated the photo and inverted it. I used a layer blending mode and a motion blur filter. I did a multiply blending mode and a stylize filter. Then adjusted the levels until it was just right. I think the two pictures have completely different feels. I especially like how it brings out the details in my dress and his tie. It's as if an artist was there to draw us on our wedding day. I love it. I was considering doing this technique to some of my friends' favorite photos and give them as Christmas gifts.
