Exhibit 4 - Advanced

For this design, I was really inspired to use fun textures. The wooden texture brings to mind a picnic table one might find at a campground. The font on the main text has a chalkboard/graffiti feel. The font underneath the polaroids looks like ballpoint pen handwriting. I used clipping masks to make the polaroids. I used these textures to create a fun vibe for the poster. One of the biggest problems I ran into with this design was the fact that both white and black text were hard to read on the wooden background. To combat this, I used a stroke of 10 pixels on the white text and I used a white rectangle with a Gaussian blur and a 90% opacity behind the black text. I definitely wanted to make the website where registration is located bigger so it would stand out, because that is very important for the viewer to know. All of the images used are from pixabay.com.
