Exhibit #12: Announcement (new exhibit)

One of the most useful things I've learned in this class is the power of opacity. If something looks to strong or out of place, taking the opacity down often fixes the issue. For this announcement, I used a background along with a textured filter to create the old paper look. I adjusted the opacity and saturation for the image at the bottom. I also blended it and cropped using a clipping mask. I used another adjustment mask and changed the opacity on the butterfly in the background to make it match the color of the background. I put a drop shadow on the small butterfly. I used contrasting fonts in a matching color. I really like how the blue butterfly sticks out and adds a fun pop of color. I feel like this invite feels formal but also inviting.
