Exhibit 2 - Advanced

I really enjoyed learning about luminosity masks this week, so I decided to use my new skills to fix a picture I took about two years ago. We were at a cabin near Strawberry Reservoir. Everything looked beautiful, but every picture I took didn’t do justice to the landscape. I used the luminosity masks and curves adjustment layers to bring up the green colors (but only on the grass) and bring up the blue color (but only on the sky and lake). I was having trouble making the lake look blue enough so I used a hue/saturation adjustment layer to give it more color. I also used the Camera Raw filter to make some small adjustments, like sharpening and contrast. I really like how you can see much more detail and color in the new and improved image.
