For this project, I decided to make a poster for an event I was in charge of. I used contrasting fonts to make it eye-catching. I think the bright color is also eye-catching. I wanted to convey that this event would be Halloween themed but still family friendly (as opposed to horror-based). I think the fun font and bright color conveys that idea. I tried to keep some aspects of the design open for a more minimalist look. I really don't like when posters are too text-heavy, so I tried to get all the details in as little words as possible. I used a background eraser and clone tool to add some extra bats to the design. I used the paint bucket tool and eye dropper tool to make the whole poster orange. The icon is from pixabay.com
